Aigbogun who is also the head coach of Nigeria Premier League club, Enyimba, while speaking on a radio programme said his players are battle ready to upset Guniea in their home ground and make the return leg in Nigeria a mere formality.

He, however, said the 18-man squad will depart the country on latest by Thursday as the match has been confirmed to take place on Saturday debunking an earlier rumour that Guinea Bissau who defeated Sierra Leone had pulled out of the qualifier.

The Flying Eagles had last week played a goalless draw with Nigeria’s Premier League side, Katsina United in a warm-up friendly and are currently training on the grass pitch of the main bowl of the National Stadium in Abuja as they will play on a grass pitch in Guinea.
