The Argentine Football Association has apologised for the publication of a World Cup manual that included advice on how to seduce Russian women.
The publication titled ‘Language and Russian Culture’ was designed by the Argentina Football Association to help coaches, players and journalist prepare for the World Cup.
The advice, which has been condemned as sexist, included a page titled “What to do to have an opportunity with a Russian woman.”
Meanwhile, those who have had a copy of the publication have been asked to return the manuals before they are redistributed with the controversial pages removed.
Argentine media reports that the Argentine Football Association President Claudio Tapia had visited Russia House, a cultural institute, in Buenos Aires on Wednesday to personally apologise for the gaffe.
