Spanish giants, Barcelona have unveiled former Bayern Munich midfielder, Arturo Vidal on Monday after he signed a three-year deal at the Camp Nou Pitch.
The 31-year-old Chilean will replace Paulinho who has rejoined Chinese Super League club, Guangzhou Evergrande on a season-long loan with a view to making it permanent.
Vidal who made 100 appearances for Chile before he retired from international football became Barca’s fourth summer signing following the arrival of Clement Lenglet, Arthur and Malcom.
The former Juventus player won six trophies with Bayern Munich but played lesser games last season due to injury and could face some challenges as Barca now have five non-Eu players with only three players allowed to play according to the Kolpak ruling.
Vidal could make his debut in the Spanish Super Cup when Barcelona face Sevilla in Morocco.
