Bayern Munich Fail To Set Record In Barren Draw

– By Henry Usiayo

Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich failed to set a club record of 15 victories in a row as they were held to a goalless draw by Hertha Berlin on Saturday.

Bayern had equaled the record with their 5-0 thumping of Besiktas on Tuesday in the Champions league in a victory stretching back to November 2017.

The game was also the first time for the club not to find the net since May 2015 as they still move 20 points clear from their rivals Borussia Dortmund who will play their outstanding game on Monday.

Both Arjen Robben and Lewandowski had try to put the Bavarians in front several times but met the resilience effort of Hertha keeper Rune Jarstein who kept on denying them scoring chances.
