German giants, Bayern Munich have unveiled new kits for the 2018-2019 seasons.
The new kits which were designed by Adidas was meant to pay homage to the 2013 treble-winning campaign with Thomas Muller, Arjen Robben, James Rodriguez and Mats Hummel showcasing the new jersey.
The kit has a subtle diamond emblem on the front with a clean blank space on the back which stands out for player’s name and number. It also features navy blue sleeve piping and off-white stripes on the shoulder, striking similarities to the 2012-13 campaign kits.
Bayern coach, Jupp Heynckes who guided the club to the 2012-2013 treble is set to leave the club at the end of this season and will be replaced by current Eintracht Frankfurt’s manager, Niko Kovac.
The Bavarians who failed to repeat the 2012-2013 same feat with Heycknes after exiting the Champions League in the semi-final against Real Madrid, are on the verge of securing a double this season after lifting the Bundesliga title, they will play against Frankfurt in the German Cup final on May 19 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
