Former Tottenham manager, Harry Redknapp says England’s toughest game will be against Croatia in the semi-final on Wednesday and urged the players to be wary.
The Three Lions defeated Sweden 2-0 in their quarter-final game to set up a semi-final showdown with Croatia who ousted hosts, Russia out of the competition.
Redknapp while speaking on Tuesday on a sports programme said, “Croatia have got a togetherness about them, that’s what makes them special.
“It’s a small country but I’ve managed a lot of Croatian players and they’ve all been great lads, they’ve got a real bond between them.
Gareth Southgate took players who have never played in any World Cup to Russia and they have repaid him with their fantastic performance as they surpassed the country’s expectations to become the first England team since 1966 to reach the semi-final of the World Cup
