Newcastle United players have returned to training in readiness for the 2018-2019 Premier league season.
The Magpies manager, Rafa Benitez welcomed the players back to their Benton training base, putting them through their pace.
The player also had some medical checks and blood tests taken from the club’s doctors after the light training session.
Benitez made a point of catching up with his players after the session, enjoying a drink with Karl Darlow, Martin Dubravka, Rob Elliot and Matz Sels in the cafe at Newcastle’s training centre.
Newcastle will play St Patrick in a pre-friendly game on July 17.
However Serbia forward, Aleksandar Mitrovic and new signing, Kinda Sung Yeung are yet to join the rest due to their involvement in the Russia 2018 World Cup.
