Javier Hernandez, the Mexican superstar who plays for English Premier League side, West Ham United is one player who likes to devote as much time to working hard as much as he plays. A case of all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy?
The player nicknamed Chicharito who was a major hit with Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson was photographed early this week, lounging with his girlfriend at the picturesque Miami beach as he tried to unwind after the rigours of participating at the last FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The Mexican forward who has been permitted to rest a little longer by Hammers’ new boss, Manuel Pellegrini was all over his Australian girlfriend, Sarah Konan, an Instagram model as they painted the idyllic United States tourist resort red.
Still spotting his peroxide- blond hair, a trademark of his third World Cup appearance at Russia 2018, Chicharito blended well with his aesthetic surroundings populated by beach-goers taking full advantage of the summer months of sunshine, fun and laughter.
Chicharito scored his third goal for Mexico in their second group F game against South Korea at Russia 2018 as the North American nation went on to qualify for the first knock out round at the World Cup.
They had started their campaign on an impressive note, shocking former champions, Germany in their opening game, and then going on to beat South Korea in their second, before losing to Sweden in their final game. With six points, Chicarito and his colleagues progressed to the round of 16 only to be stopped again, for the seventh time in the tournament, and at the same stage by Brazil.
But all of that experience seemed to have dissolved into the labyrinth of time as Chicharito looked like one with no care in the world as he enjoys days of pampering with his beau.
The striker played no part in the Hammers” recent win over Wycombe in a pre-season match.
It is expected that the striker’s adequate rest will reflect in his form for his club when he eventually returns.
Chicharito has scored a total of 50 goals in 105 matches for his country.
