The Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Thursday afternoon depart their Essentuki camp to Kaliningrad ahead of their opening game against Croatia on Saturday.
The team arrived Essentuki on Monday night and had their first training session on Tuesday evening with all players involved and will now travel to Kaliningrad as disclosed by the team official reporter, Samm Audu in a tweet on Wednesday.
The tweet read, “Super Eagles fly out Thursday afternoon to Kaliningrad for opening #WorldCup Grp D match vs Croatia. Flight duration 3 hours from Essentuki,” Samm Audu tweeted on his official Twitter handle.
The team will train twice on Wednesday with the evening session set to be behind closed doors.
The Super Eagles will play Croatia on Saturday June 16 in their first group game before playing Iceland June 22 and Argentina in their last group game June 26.
