Arsenal coach, Unai Emery is yet to decide his first choice goalkeeper ahead of the 2018-2019 Premier League season.
The Spaniard has been busy in the transfer market since he took over from Arsene Wenger and has signed six players including Bayer Leverkusen safest pair of hands, Bernd Leno.
Arsenal so far now have five goalkeepers, Petr Cech, Emiliano Martinez, Matt Macey, Ospina and Bernd Leno but will trim the numbers to three goalkeepers.
Emery in a pre-match conference ahead of his first game in charge of the Gunners said, “I want to work with Petr Cech, with Bernd Leno, with Emiliano Martinez, with Matt Macey, with Ospina. It’s clear that we have a lot of goalkeepers but we want to work in the future with three goalkeepers in the first team”
“Now, I want to look, I want to work every day with all the goalkeepers and then I am going to decide for who is No 1,” he added.
Cech was mostly used by the former manager, Arsene Wenger in their league games last season why Ospina who was in action for Colombia at the Russia 2018 World Cup was used towards the end of the season.
