First El-Classico Without Ronaldo Set For Oct As LA Liga Fixtures Are Released

The Spanish FA have announced the fixtures for the 2018-2019 La Liga season with the league set to kick off August 19.

Barcelona will start their title campaign at home to Deportivo Alaves on August 19, while Real Madrid host Getafe, with Valencia playing Atletico Madrid in the pick of the opening round.

The first El-Clasico without Cristiano Ronaldo will be played on October 28 which will be Matchday 10 of the season at the Camp Nou while Madrid will welcome Barça to the Santiago Bernabeu, March 3.

The first Madrid derby is scheduled for Matchday with Julen Lopetegui’s side at home against Atletico Madrid while Barca hosts Athletic Bilbao on the same weekend.

Madrid will then head to the Wanda Metropolitano for the return match on February 10, while the Seville derbies are to be played on matchdays three and 32.

The curtain for the 2018-2019 season will draw close on May 19 when Barcelona travels to play Eibar while Real Madrid will welcome Real Betis.
