Paris Saint- Germain midfielder, Marco Verratti has been ruled out of the season after undergoing surgery.
PSG in a statement on Thursday said the Italian midfielder will miss the remaining three league games as well as the Coupe de France final against Les Herbiers on May 8.
The club said the 25-year old who joined the club in 2012 underwent a surgery to correct an adductors tendon problem which has been done successfully.
A statement from the club said, “The date was chosen to enable him to start the 2018/2019 season in the best possible shape”
PSG who are already crowned the Ligue 1 champions is seeking for domestic doubles this season.
