Mane’s Hospital Visit Sparks Injury Fears Ahead Roma Clash

Sadio Mane sparked fears about his fitness ahead of their crucial UEFA Champions League second leg clash against AS Roma next week when he was seen limping into a hospital in Liverpool on Wednesday.

The Senegalese international, part of what has come to be known as Liverpool’s “Fabulous Three” attack machine comprising of Mane, Roberto Firmino and the impressive Mohamed Salah (with a combined total of 88 goals between them this season), had walked into the Spire Hospital in Liverpool on Wednesday, a day after he scored in the Reds’ 5-2 demolition of  Roma in the first leg, semi-finals of their Champions League encounter.

Hotsportstv.com learnt he spent an hour in the building before leaving, further fuelling doubts as to his possible availability for the Reds in next week’s crucial return leg to the same opponents away at the Stadio Olimpico.

The 26-year-old had been photographed spotting a red Givench hoodie and a pair of Gucci slip-on shoes as he first arrived the hospital.

The implications of Mane’s latest impairment is not lost on manager, Jurgen Klopp as he tries to come to terms with injuries now ravaging his team.

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain is the latest to join a rising list of the wounded when a knee injury stopped him from further action in their elaborate with over Roma on Tuesday.

It has already been confirmed he would miss the crucial title run-in involving his team as well as the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup with the Three Lions of England. The duo of Emre Can and Adam Lallana have since been ruled out on long-term injuries.
