Former ATP No 1, Rafael Nadal dreams of returning to his former glory has issued his fans with an injury update as he recovers from a hip problem.
The 31-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday to post a video of him training in a swimming pool.
Nadal who swam a length before removing his goggles and putting his thumbs up to the camera, with a cheesy grin splashed across his face, wrote: “Cada día mejor / improving every day!”
The Spaniard suffered the injury during his quarter-final clash with Marin Cilic at the Australian Open and was forced to withdraw two games into the final set.
While his Tennis counterparts battle it out at the Indian Wells in Califonia, Nadal have been moving from one specialist to the other.
But he seems to be returning to action soon considering his social media post.
Nadal is hoping to return in time for the Monte Carlo Masters in April, a tournament he has won 10 times.
