The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) is reportedly in negotiations with its partner and giant kit manufacturers, NIKE on a new contract.
The contract is to be concluded before the Super Eagles kick off at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
An NFF official who pleaded anonymity hinted that the NFF was working towards eradicating the third party relationship that had always existed in their dealings over the decades, stating that the federation now deals directly with the kit manufacturers.
According to the NFF source, a new clause which will see states’ FAs benefitting from the deal was also expected to be included in the new contract with the renowned kit manufacturers.
Nigeria will open their 2018 World Cup campaign on June 16 against Croatia in Kaliningrad.
