Nigerian Boxer, Cole Chiori To Defend WBF, GBF Titles

A relatively unknown United States based Nigerian-born boxer, Gift Cole Chiori, will defend his WBF title on May 12 in Atlanta Georgia against Finnish fighter, Teemu Touminen in a scheduled 10-round bout in the World Boxing Federation Junior Middleweight.

The Nigerian boxer, who also holds the Global Boxing Federation (GBF) Super Middleweight title, last fought in 2016 when he defeated Cuban boxer, Victor Moya to extend his unbeaten record to 13 wins with 13 knock outs.

Cole who has been preparing heavily to defend the two titles against his Finland opponent said, “After being out of the ring for almost two years now, I can’t wait to bring back the fire come May 12,”
