FC Ifeanyiubah coach, Ladan Bosso has hinted that the club will not be involved in any mid-season transfer as he is confident of his current players’ ability to continue fighting hard and remain in the league for next season.
Bosso who is known for his philosophy of giving young talents the opportunity to thrive said there is no need looking elsewhere for talents as a large pool of them surrounds him in the club feeders’ team.
He said, “We are not going anywhere to look for new players to sign.“Instead, we are dipping our hands in the large pool of young players at our disposal to push through. And we have already moved three of such players up to the main team. Two of them were on the bench on Sunday against Go Round. And if we had scored our third goal, I would have introduced our ‘little Messi,’ Bussa Nansel.
“We also have Cooper Ikenna on the bench. These are all young players we pushed up from our youth team and by next week we would have another one. So, why begin to look elsewhere when such players with extreme potential and quality are around you? All that is needed is to encourage them and I bet you they will add value to our aspiration as a team.”
FC Ifeanyi Ubah came from behind to defeat debutants, Go Round FC 2-1 in their last NPFL game in Anambra and are 12th on the League and also have a game at hand against Enyimba which will be played on Wednesday 9, May 2018.
