Juventus record signing, Cristiano Ronaldo has arrived Turin ahead of his first training with the club on Monday.
The former Real Madrid superstar who joined Juventus but this month for a £100m, was seen disembarking from a private jet with his family and entourage as fans were already awaiting his arrival.
Ronaldo was offered an extended break after guiding Portugal to the round of 16 at the just concluded Russia 2018 World Cup and will now join the rest of the team to prepare for next season’s Serie A which kicks off in August.
Juventus have won two of their pre-season games against Bayern Munich and Benfica without the service of Ronaldo as the team is preparing to play their next pre-season game against Ronaldo’s former club, Real Madrid on August 4.
Ronaldo could miss the game as it will be coming too soon after his holiday but he could make his first debut for the Old Lady in their Serie A opener against Chievo on August 19.
