Portugal coach Fernando Santos has unveiled a 35-man preliminary squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.
World Footballer Of The Year, Cristiano Ronaldo is named alongside 10 other players who represented Portugal in the last World Cup in Brazil while 19 of the players played in last year’s FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia.
The squad is provisional as the team would be trimmed to the final 23 man squad that must be submitted to FIFA June 4.
The Selecao das Quinas will open their World Cup campaign in the group stage on June 15 against Spain before playing Morocco June 20 while their last group game would be against Iran June 25.
