Egyptian Football Federation has come out to quell rumours that Mohamed Salah missed a doping test which could lead to his exclusion from the World Cup.
Manager of the Egyptian national team, Ehab Leheta who spoke on the issue, denied the rumours and said FIFA had not threatened to exclude their star player.
Ehab noted that Salah was not even around on the first day of their camp ahead of the friendly games with Portugal and Greece as the test was done on the first day when the Pharoahs camp resumed.
According to reports from an Egyptian soccer website, the national team manager also stressed that the Egyptian Football Federation have not received any letter from FIFA regarding the matter.
Egyptian National Team held their March camp in Switzerland, playing two friendlies against Portugal and Greece. Mohamed Salah scored versus Portugal as Egypt’s lone goal in the friendlies, eventually succumbing to two losses against the European oppositions.
