A late striker by Zuberu Sharani was all Dreams FC needed to pick all vital points from a difficult game with Elmina Sharks at the Theatre of Dreams on Sunday afternoon and it was their first win of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.
The game was the first Premier League game at the Theatre of Dreams since 2016 and it never lacked drama.
A terrific save by Elmina Sharks goalkeeper, Joseph Essam denied Dreams a first half lead and sent the goalkeeper to the hospital after landing badly on the pitch.
Both sides failed to find the back of the net before the break in what could be described a cracking encounter.
The two teams returned from the break with Elmina Sharks looking a better side than the home side.
It all looked set to end in a frustrating draw for Dreams FC but Sharani had other ideas as he struck beautifully from the edge of the Sharks 18 yard box to give Dreams a very late lead on the 90th minute mark.
