Former Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia is among the list of coaches who are eyeing the vacant Cameroon national team managerial position.
The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) said that about 77 coaches have submitted their Curriculum Vitae to jostle for the abdicated position by Belgian manager Hugo Broos who led the Indomitable Lions to win the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
Siasia will be vying for the position with top managers like Raymond Domenech, former Cote D’Ivoire, and former Nigeria coach, Philippe Troussier and Alain Giresse.
Also, former captain Rigobert Song, who currently handles the home-based senior team, is the only local candidate on the list.
A statement from the Cameroon Football Federation said the successful candidate would also be tasked with the development of young players.
A final three-man short-list will be released before interviews will be conducted to pick the right candidate for the vacant post.
