Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina scored his first Serie A goal to hand Torino a vital three points against Udinese at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on Sunday.
Aina who has become a regular player for Torino since his loan move from Chelsea this season was up against his Super Eagles teammate, William Troost-Ekong and compounded Udinese woe in the Serie A this season as he headed home the lone goal in the 31st minute.
Aina in a post-match interview expressed delight on opening his goal account for Torino and said he is looking forward to their next game against Napoli.
“It was a crazy match, with several decisions made with the VAR, but full of emotions, I am very happy with the three points.
I dedicate the goal to my little brother, and today we played more attack, it was a battle.
Next week we will have a trip to the Naples field: it will be a difficult challenge, but we know that if we play at Torino we can make a result against anyone. ”
He took to his Twitter account to celebrate the goal and also relished playing against Ekong.
He wrote: “1st Goal ➕ 3 Points! ⚽️🙏🏿. Team effort to secure the win 💯. Good linking up with the bro @WTroostEkong . #MrLulu
