Akwa United have beefed up their squad with the recent acquisition of four players as the club aims to finish in the top four of the current season.
The Uyo- based club who were eliminated from both the CAF Confederation Cup, seek to add more depth to their team as they signed two strikers and two defenders in the NPFL transfer mid season transfer window which will close by May.
The Promise Keepers unveiled the striker names as; Ifeanyi Ede who played for Al- Nasr, Oman and Mathew Boniface who played for Bulgarian club, Beroe Stara Zagora.
The defenders are Jamiu Alimi and Ayobami Asekunowo who joined from Kano Pillars and Wikki Tourists respectively.
Akwa United are currently placed 5th in the Nigeria league with two games at hand and will be playing against Enyimba on Sunday evening at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar.
