Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has said his team must approach the Cameroon 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya on Saturday the same way it approached it World Cup 2018 qualifier against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
While admitting the Mediterranean Knights are a strong side, Rohr hinted the that the Eagles will prepare for Saturday’s clash like they did against Cameroon last year. Nigeria played the African champions over two legs in the qualifiers for the Russia 2018 World Cup – they won 4-0 in Uyo before playing 1-1 in Yaounde.
Nigeria will play Libya in the first of the qualifying double-header at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo. The Mediterranean Knights host the second leg of the tie four days later in Sfax, Tunisia.
