Dream Team’s Captain, Okechukwu Sure Of Victory Over Libya

Nigeria’s Dream Team captain and midfielder, Azubuike Okechukwu, has assured Nigerians that the team will defeat Libya in the second leg of the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Asaba on Monday.

The 21-year-old is confident that the team overturn Libya’s two-goal deficit in Asaba.

Azubuike in an interview with reporters highlighted the need for the team to play for better chances in order to defeat their Libyan counterparts and proceed to the final qualification stage of the U-23 AFCON to be played in Egypt from November 8 to 22.

Asides Kelechi Nwakali, Samuel Chukwueze and Taiwo Awoniyi, who played the first leg at Ben Guerdane in Tunisia, Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, defenders, Chidozie Awaziem and Valentine Ozornwafor, and striker Victor Osimhen have been called from the Super Eagles to beef up the squad against Libya.
