Hazard Wants More Goals, Chelsea Legend Tag

Chelsea playmaker,  Eden Hazard has handed the club a major relieve that he will want to remain at Stamford Bridge and plans to become a Chelsea legend.

Hazard has been a subject of transfer speculations and has not ruled out a move to Real Madrid as the Los Blancos has constantly been on the lookout to strike a deal.

He scored a brace as Chelsea won 1-2 against Watford on boxing day at the Vicarage to help the Blues bounce back to winning ways after losing to Leicester City at the Stamford Bridge last weekend.

The Belgian has now joined the league of players who have reached centenary goals in the  Premier League as he has 101 to his name in his six-and-a-half-years at the Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian while basking in his new record and the club’sb victory, during in a post-match conference on the club website said,  “It means a lot, especially because we also won.

“One hundred and 101 goals with this amazing club is something I will never forget. Now the fans, the staff, the players want me to score more, and I want to score more goals for this club and try to be a legend like Lampard,  Didier Drogba and John Terry.

“To be fair I missed a couple of chances, especially in the first half, but when you miss you need to keep focused and try to score more goals. I scored two goals, I try to do my best, and when we are winning we can enjoy a lot.

Hazard, who has now scored 10 league goals and assisted a further nine, said he was satisfied with the way the team bounced back after losing to Leicester on Saturday.

He said, ” We showed great character against Man City after a defeat in Wolverhampton. We lost three days ago against Leicester, we needed to respond on the pitch and we did well.

“When we can fight together and play together we are a top team and we need to do it more often, ” he added.
