Super Eagles have been hit with another injury worries ahead of the Nations Cup qualifier against South Africa on November 17 as striker Odion Ighalo sustained an injury on Wednesday.
Ighalo who scored five goals in two matches for the Eagles in their double-header qualifier against Libya last month was substituted in the 17th minute while playing for his Chinese club Changchun Yatai.
The striker will now be replaced by Galatasaray forward, Henry Onyekuru who was put on standby by Gernot Rohr as Ighalo will not be fit to return to the squad before November 17.

Igahlo started the game for Changchun Yatai against Tianjin Quanjin at home as they seek to return to winning ways following their 2-0 loss away to Shandong Luneng.
The former Watford striker who is the second highest goal-scorer in the Chinese League this season was forced to leave the pitch after a rough tackle by an opponent in the 17th minute.
The club has however not made any statement concerning Ighalo’s injury.
The game ended 2-2 with Changchun Yatai yet to win a game in their last seven games and they are currently 14th in the Chinese League table.
Recall Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho has been ruled out for the November 17 clash after he sustained an injury on Sunday while playing for Elche in the Spanish Division Two.
