Super Eagles midfielder, Joel Obi scored the last goal in Torino’s 4-0 thrashing of Cagliari in their Italian Serie A clash on Saturday.
The 26-year old who started on the bench on return from international duties with Nigeria rattled in a right footed shot from close range to the bottom right corner after connecting with a pass from teammate Andrea Belotti.
Obi came on in the 77th minute, he came got on the score sheet 10 minutes after. Torino are now placed 10th on the log with 39 points from 29 games played this season.
Iago Falqué had earlier opened the flurry of second half goals with Serbia’s Adem Ljajić and Cristian Ansaldi all scoring before Obi scored to ensure Walter Mazzari’s side enjoyed their ninth win of the season.
