The organizers of the Nigeria football league, League Management Company (LMC) have released the calendar for the 2018-2019 NPFL season.
The league which was earlier scheduled to resume in November has now been rescheduled to kick off on December 1.
According to a statement signed by LMC Chief Operating Officer, Salihu Abubakar the league will end on May 19, 2019, with all the league games to be played mainly on weekends across various stadiums in the country.
The 2018 Super Cup will be played at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba November 21 same day LMC will hold its Annual General Meeting and also release the fixtures for the season.
The NPFL mid-season break will be from February 16-March 2 2019 to enable players to participate in the 2019 General Elections in the country.
The first FIFA transfer window which has been opened since October 20 will close December 20 while the second FIFA transfer window will open on January 30- Febr
