Akwa United forward, Mfon Udoh has scooped the award for the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) player of the month for February.
Mfon who still holds the record of the highest goals scored in a single season in the NPFL, rejoined Akwa United this summer after his fallout with Enyimba.
He has scored seven goals in ten games for the ‘Promise Keepers who is presently third on the NPFL Group B table with 16 points, two points behind league leader, Fc Ifeanyi Ubah and second-placed El-Kanemi Warriors.
Mountain of Fire and Miracles Football Club, (MFM FC) manager, Fidelis Ilechukwu was voted as the manager of the month for February.
Ilechukwu who has been at the helm of affairs with the Olukoya Boys since they gained promotion to the professional league, has kept the club at the top of their game as they currently top the NPFL Group A table with 18 points from nine games.
The award is organized by the League Bloggers Award, to encourage the contribution of players and coaches in the Nigeria league in order to make the league more competitive.
