Nigeria defeated Seychelles 3-0 on the second game of their 2019 AFCON qualifier on Saturday and will fly to Monrovia on Tuesday morning.

The players that have been exempted to return to their clubs ahead of this weekend’s fixtures after the international break are Francis Uzoho, Bryan Idowu, Leon Balogun and Kenneth Omeruo. Also permitted to return are Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo and Ogenyi Onazi.

Rohr has however called up Enyimba duo, Mfon Udoh and Sunday Adetunji, FC Ifeanyiubah defender, Adeleye Olamilekan and Lobi Stars’ Ebube Duru who played with the Super Eagles Team B at the GOTV Max Cup game against Atletico Madrid last June in a bid to give the fringe players more playing time.

The game against Liberia is to mark the celebration of Liberia president who was one-time world footballer of the year and will be played at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex on Tuesday night.
