Rangers Confirm Departure Of Three Players

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, Rangers International have announced that three players have left the club during the World Cup break.

The Nigeria Premier League abruptly ended after the league organizer, League Management Company (LMC) after meeting with chairmen of club owners to deliberate on the league which was disrupted and altered the calendar.

As a result of the delay in the resumption of the league, most club players decided to further their football career outside the country.

Rangers in a tweet confirmed the departure on its official Twitter account.

“We have transferred three players since the league went on break. Christian Pyagbara is in Saudi Arabia. Christian Madu has joined a Portuguese club side, while Uche Nwofor is in Algeria.

The club finished in 10th place on the league table which has been awarded to Lobi Stars after just 24 league games. The Markudi-based club will now represent Nigeria at next season CAF Champions League.
