Ahead of the Confederation Cup game between Enyimba and Rayon Sports on Sunday, Rayon Sports coach, Robertinho Oliveira is confident his team will pick the semi-final ticket in Aba.
Enyimba held the Rwandan club to a goalless draw in the first leg of the quarter-final in Kigali last weekend but the coach is optimistic that his lads can complete the work when they play at the Aba Township Stadium where Enyimba defeated Congolese team, CARA to pick the quarter-final ticket.
The Brazilian who led Rayon to the last eight for the first time in an interview said, “We will push to score goals and win the game, and we have proved we can score and win matches on foreign soil.
“It was a very difficult game. They played long balls while we maintained our ball possession football. We were a better side, but their defense and goalie were solid,” he admitted.
The game will be the second time Enyimba will be playing at the refurbished Aba Township Stadium since 2015.
