Cristiano Ronaldo once again proved he is the right man for the show as he netted his 18th Serie A goal for Juventus in their 0-3 victory against Sassuolo to move 11 points clear at the top of Serie A.
With 20 goals so far in Serie A, Ronaldo moves close to winning his first Capocannoniere. The title is currently held by Mauro Icardi and Ciro Immobile, who both scored 29 goals for Internazionale and Lazio, respectively, in the 2017–18 season
Ronaldo who joined the Bianconeri this summer, scored the second goal after Emre Can had broken the deadlock just six minutes into the first half.
The former Real Madrid forward had seen his goal disallowed earlier for offside before he soared high to head in a Miralem Pjanic corner in the 70th minute to record his ninth consecutive away league goal.
The third came when Sami Khedira scored from a rebound after a Ronaldo effort was saved.
Ronaldo has now scored 18 league goals to top the goal chart and now have 20 goals in 31 appearances for the Bianconeri this season in all competitions.
Juventus have now won 20 games and drew three out of their 23 league games as they keep their eight Serie A title chase intact.
