Women in Russia are reportedly crushing on Senegalese coach, Aliou Cisse, labelling him a sex symbol at the ongoing 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Cisse, who led Senegal and Africa to their first Russia 2018 World Cup victory in a 2-1 win over Poland on Thursday was being used as sex fantasy by Russian women.
When asked about his sex-symbol status with Russian women, Cisse said “You’ll have to ask the ladies. I don’t think I’m a sex symbol at all. There are millions of Aliou Cisses around the world. But it’s nice to be loved.”
Cisse (42) is the youngest and the only black coach at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, having led the team through CAF qualifiers and eventually qualifying his country for their 2nd appearance at the World Cup.
The Teranga Lions’ coach captained the Senegalese team that defeated the defending champions, France 1-0 in their maiden appearance at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
Senegal will be aiming to become the first African country to secure World Cup round of 16 qualification when they face Japan in the second Group H fixtures on Sunday.
