Seychelles Lock Eagles Out At Training Session

Visiting Seychelles national team and Nigeria’s opponents in Friday’s last leg AFCON kept the Super Eagles waiting in their team bus outside Stephen Keshi Stadium main bowl as they extended their training session and ate into the time allotted for the Nigerian team.

The Super Eagles players and officials waited for more than 30 minutes and had to move into the stadium tartan tracks to notify the visitors that time was up.
Training eventually started under floodlights for the Nigerian team at 5:40 pm after the Seychelles team reluctantly left the pitch.

The Super Eagles confront Seychelles on Friday at 4 pm in the last round of the AFCON 2019 qualifying series.
