Super Eagles defender, Semi Ajayi believes the Nigerian football supporter is capable of making the huge difference when they take on Libya in their AFCON qualifier.
The Eagles will play the Mediterranean Knights on Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo and the Rotherham defender is certain with the full support of their fans they will be able to get the maximum points from the doubleheader.
Semi in an interview made available on the official Twitter handle of the Super Eagles said the team is aware of the importance of the game and will do all they can to make the country proud.
“We know the importance of these two matches and are determined to do all we can to secure maximum points to give ourselves the best chance of qualification and make our country proud.
“We ask for the continuous support from our fans as their support can make all the difference,” he added.
Akwa Ibom governor had earlier in a bid to lure fans to turn out massively for the game, slashed the ticket prices for the game by 50 per cent.
