After sharing the spoils in Amsterdam last week, Ajax manager Eric ten Hag is confident his team can overcome any limit they are likely to be stretched ahead of the second leg in Turin, tonight
Ajax will be hoping to turn the story in their favour at Turin having failed to reach the UEFA Champions League Semifinal in 22 years.
ten Hag and goalkeeper, Andre Onana spoke with the press in the pre-match conference calmly and confident of the game.
The manager said, “We won’t put a man on Cristiano. De Jong is still in doubt. After tonight’s training, we will see. Juve is the favourite, especially after the Amsterdam result. If we play well, we can overcome any limit. Allegri is very knowledgeable and has certainly thought of a different way to approach this game compared to last week. We need to improve our tactical plan.”
Onana who have been in perfect form for the club this season is confident that if the game is stretched to penalties, he is ready for that.
“We are very good and I am ready for any penalties that will need to be saved. I was born ready. I am very confident in getting further in the Champions League because of the way we are training and the way we are playing. I am very confident.”
