UEFA Won’t Punish Mourinho After Bizarre UCL Goal Celebration

Manchester United Manager, Jose Mourinho will not face any sanction from UEFA following his bizarre celebration on Tuesday in the Champions League game against Young Boys at Old Trafford.

Mourinho while celebrating Marouane Fellaini’s last-gasp goal which got Manchester United the round of 16 tickets, grabbed a rack of bottle water and slammed them to the ground before also kicking another rack all in celebration.

However, the match delegate from Germany, Rainer Koch was reported not to have mentioned the incident on his official report he submitted which means Mourinho has been left off the hook.

Mourinho pulled lots of stunt during the game including turning to the fans, fold his arms and shrugged his shoulders when Marcus Rashford missed a glaring chance in the first half. He also went ahead to send a message to his lovers during his post-match conference.

The former Real Madrid coach could have been handed a touchline ban for such display of antics in the Premier League but UEFA rules are not so strict as there is no automatic punishment for managers for such conducts.
